Willa Robinson is the founder and visionary behind Knowledge Power Communications.  She is the author of I Will Be A Teacher When I Grow Up, the first book of the I Will Be empowerment series for children ages 4 to 10, but appropriate for children of all ages and ethnicities.  I Will Be A Lawyer When I Grow Up, I will Be A Nurse When I Grow Up, and I Will Be A Doctor When I Grow Up is coming soon.  Robinson’s goal is to publish a book for every career so children will be able to identify with professionals that look like them and may have come from similar backgrounds.

Initially Robinson’s goal was to write and publish her children’s book series.  She didn’t know she would publish books for other authors, but after her Pastor, Stephen Hamilton of Spirit and Life Ministries of San Fernando, California, referred a new author; Houstina Summers to help Summers publish her first novel, Angelica’s Revenge, her business expanded their publishing division and introduced Knowledge Power Books.  Fashion designer, Houstina Summers penned her novel in five months after receiving a vision from God to help our youth from falling victim to senseless killings due to African American and Hispanic gang violence.

Next, a friend, Evangelist Shirley Byrd referred a new author, Theresa Kirk to help Kirk publish her first inspirational words of revelation, Some Things Made Plain.  Minister Theresa Kirk didn’t realize she was an author until her sister, a youth minister shared with Kirk that she needed to write a book and Kirk discovered she had written more than 100 titles to her revelations in her Bibles.  Some Things Made Plain, coming soon is the first of a series of four books.  God has blessed Kirk with the gift of revelation and knowledge to write inspirational words on how to apply the Word of God to everyday life situations.
